A comment I sent to Fox News....

I often watch The O'Reilly Factor...as Bill O'Reilly is an interesting ...if often outrageous...'Talking Head.' On Tuesday November 20, 2007 .....he was not on LIVE...as he was on an trip to Afghanistan....to speak with (and entertain )American troops. His replacement host...Laura Ingram (sp?)....interviewed Sunsara Taylor...about the protesters at The University of Florida who interrupted former A.G. Roberto Gonzales' speaking engagement. (One person held a sign reading: "Habeas Corpus").

I approve of CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE....yet also revere THE FIRST AMENDMENT .....so I support the protesters right to protest ...along with Gonzales' right to speak. If laws are broken ...the law breakers deserve to be brought to justice. However ....it does seem a bit absurd to arrest those who protest suspect & illegal acts committed in their name by their own government.

Ms. Ingram was rude and obnoxious....while Ms. Taylor was polite ...if frustrated ...with her treatment. The 'discussion' also covered protests in California which interrupted a C.I.A. presentation on another university campus. I give credit to The O'Reilly factor for inviting philosophically diverse guests .....but the treatment Sunsara Taylor received was just plain WRONG.

The following is a note I sent to Fox News.....via their 'NEWS TIP' portal:

To Fox News 'News Tips':

HOT TIP:

While Mr. O'Reilly was in Afghanistan...his guest host, Laura Ingram, reached new lows in crassness & incivility ...while speaking with her guest, Sunsara Taylor. Please ask Bill to NEVER INVITE THAT VICIOUS SLIME MONGER back on Fox. Let us all be perfectly clear ...those who protest the crimes of The Bush Administration are PATRIOTS OF THE FIRST ORDER!

"1/20/2009 can not come soon enough! May The 'Wyoming & Texas Tag Team' live out their days in SHAME as we , the people, attempt to recover our nation's honor ...and undo all that they have done...with our treasure ...and ....to our formerly good name".
